Abstract

1395702 Beverage dispenser R KOFFLER 23 June 1972 [25 March 1971] 7837/71 Heading A4T A beverage dispenser comprises a pump 1 connected between a water storage tank 2 and a water heater 3, a solenoid-operable valve 5 between the heater and the nozzle for ejecting hot water, and at least one ingredient dispensing container controlled for dispensing an ingredient separately from said nozzle. The dispenser may be coin-freed, and have dispensers for powder Fig.3, (not shown) having solenoids moving double-core devices at the bottom of powder containers. Powder may be dispensed into a cup from the dispensing containers, followed by hot water, all the dispensers are housed in the same casing. The control circuitry may be arranged so that water may flow through the pump when this is not operated to provide a flat drink, or so that water is forced under pressure to provide e.g. frothy coffee.
