Abstract

1419805 Mixing container GKN SANKEY LTD 17 Oct 1974 [23 Nov 1973] 54425/73 Heading B1C A mixing vessel primarily for a beverage dispensing machine has an inlet 2 and an outlet 3, a channel 4 surrounding the inlet, a further inlet (as described a tangential inlet 5, Fig. 2 not shown) arranged so that liquid swirls round the channel, and means to cause the liquid to flow over one side of the channel to wash the vessel wall. As described the wall 6 is lower than the well 7 of the channel, which may be provided with a fixed or detachable lip 9. The channel wall 6 has drainage slots 11 which are inclined so that the incoming flow does not pass through them, see Fig. 2, (not shown).
