Abstract

1486554 Roof-light assembly TORVALE HOLDINGS Ltd 6 Dec 1974 [8 Sept 1973] 42325/73 Heading E1R A roof-light assembly includes a rectangular frame formed from four members 12 of constant cross-section. A roof-light member 11 is clamped on the support shelf 12c by four locking rails 13 having a heel 13a accommodated in the channel 12d, a catch 13b engaging the detent 12e and a clamp member 13c. Resilient pads 11a may be provided. A facing panel 14 is snap-fastened to the section 12. The roof-light member may be a single- or double-dome or a double glazing unit. Other embodiments may be hinged for opening or provided with ventilators (including louvres and fly-screens) or with forced ventilation (requiring an additional sub-assembly giving extra height).
