Abstract

A balanced flue water heater for a caravan or boat and in which combustion air is drawn directly from the atmosphere outside the caravan or boat. Also the gaseous products of combustion are discharged directly to atmosphere. The heater has a tubular heat exchanger defining one or more flow paths 16, 18 for water to be heated and disposed in the combustion chamber 30 such that the tube runs of the heat exchanger are inclined relative to the flame table 32 and also preferably relative to each other. The heater according to this invention has a smaller overall height than would be possible with comparable conventional heaters. <IMAGE>
