Abstract

212,828. Owen, E. J. Aug. 20, 1923. Building - blocks. - Building - blocks for walls and columns have their opposing faces formed so as to provide a horizontal longitudinal channel 4, the cross-section of which is substantially V- shape, and the outer edges 6 of the opposing faces are in close contact to prevent the escape of the binding- material which is poured into grooves 8, 10 after the blocks have been laid in position. Pointing grooves 11 are provided at the outer corners of the blocks. Blocks of L-shape may be employed for corners, and of T-shape in the case of a wall intersecting another wall at right angles.
