Abstract

The system has a receiver which is fitted to the TV remote control and which emits an audible bleep when it receives a signal from a transmitter. The transmitter and receiver are fixed by sticky pads to the TV set and to the remote control respectively. The transmitter signal has a range of about 15 meters and is able to penetrate soft furnishings and solid objects. The receiver is powered by two hearing aid type batteries and produces a sound for 5 to 10 seconds.

Description

T.V. REMOTE CONTROL SEEKER a) T.V. Remote Control buzzer/bleeDer fixed to T.V. remote control.
b) To overcome the problem in every household of misplaced T.V. remote control/s.
c) The remote control seeker is made up of 2 components (Figure 1) being the transmitter and (figure 2) being the receiver.
d) The transmitter will be fitted by means of a sticky pad to the T.V. The receiver to be fitted by the same means to the T.V. remote control. When the transmitter is operated the receiver will give off a bleep and thus revealing its' whereabouts.
e) The transmitter will transmit a signal to the receiver which will operate a switch inside the receiver.
f) The receiver will be made up of 2 hearing aid type batteries and remote control switch, speaker and bleeper.
The signal must be able to penetrate soft furnishings and solid objects and will have a range of about 15 metres.
The signal must sound for 5 to 10 seconds to enable the user to locate the remote controls' whereabouts more easily.

Claims (1)

  1. Statement of Claims.
    The T.V. Remote Control Seeker will overcome the problem of misplaced T.V. remote controls.
    This would be done by means of a transmitter sending a signal to the receiver and the receiver giving off an audible signal.
