Abstract

A post pouch for fitting behind a letterbox slot 5 by fixing strips 3, 4, 7, is in the form of a plastics or cloth "envelope" 2 with V - folds 6 which enable it to fold flat.

Description

POST POUCH DESCRIPTION This invention relates to a printed matter receptacle with a expansion folds in both sides mounted on seW supporting strips which will attach over any letter box.
Such mail receptacles are known, but suffer from the disadvantage that, they are made of metal, hazardous and protrude.
An object of this invention is to provide a mail printed matter receptacle that folds flat and allows easy access to contents.
Accordingly, this invention provides a printed matter receptacle including fixed supports that is easily attached and detached and remains flat at all times.
Preferably the receptacle is made from plastic or cloth material or from a combination of these materials.
A preferred embodiment will know be described with reference to the accompanying drawings in which: Fig 1 shows a front view of the whole receptacle.
Fig 2 shows a rear view of the whole receptacle with supports, aperture and fixing strips.
Fig 3 shows a side view of the whole receptacle with ' type internal expansion fold.
DESCIPTION As shown in Fig 1 ( 1 ) the receptacle comprises of a oblong flat exterior having supports Fig 2 (714) at the top and bottom of the opening ( 5 ) with fixing strips ( 3 ) attached to the supports The side view of the receptacle Fig 3 ( 6 ) shows the Ar internal expansion folds.
The supports Fig 2 (7/4 ) allows the receptacle to attach to the door by the fixing strips ( 3 ) which are joined to the receptacle supports (714).
Fig 2 shows the receptacle opening 5 situated between the upper and lower supports 714.
As shown in Fig 2 the fixing strips 3 are attached to the supports 7/4 to allow self support when the receptacle is in position.
Fig 3 shows the internal v expansion 6 which will expand to receive long or bulky objects when the receptacle is in position.
With the receptacle Fig 2 in position the top support 7 is pulled away from the door fixing which allows the contents of receptacle to be retrieved, the lower support 4 remains fixed in position if required.
The receptacle Fig 2, has supports (714) that are attached to either side of the opening (5) the fixings (3) are attached to the supports 714 these fixings allow the receptacle to hang in required position the v expansion fold Fig 3 (6) expands and contracts as required.

Claims (5)

1. A post receptacle including supports mounted at the opening edges with fixing strips mounted upon these same supports, a internal V fold is incorporated along two sides to assist expansion.
2. A receptacle as claimed in any preceding claim which is made from plastic or cloth material or a combination of these materials.
3. A receptacle as claimed in claim 1 or claim 2 where the supports with the fixings provide a two piece push and pull fixing strip.
4. A receptacle as claimed in any preceding claim which holds letters newsprint and packages.
5. A mail receptacle substantially as herein described and illustrated in the accompanying drawing.

Amendments to the claims have been filed as follows 1. A mail receptacle including fixing strips mounted on supports to the upper and lower edges of the of the pouch opening. Both vertical sides of pouch have internal expansion folds, the bottom is sealed.
2. A receptacle as claimed in any preceding claim which is made from plastic or cloth material or a combination of these materials.
3. A receptacle as claimed in claim 1 or claim 2 where the supports with the fixings provide a two piece push and pull fixing strip.
4. A receptacle as claimed in any preceding claim which holds letters newsprint and packages.
