Abstract
A golf club head assembly comprising a ball striking plate 1 with a front face having a number of miniature craters 11 and a rear face having a radial series of miniature triangular valleys 8 to align with miniature triangular ridges 10 on the front face of an inertia block 2 and an impact absorption washer between the ball striking face and the inertia block the ball strike face and the inertia block being held together by a screw. A domed socket screw 3 may be used for driver or fairway wood clubs or a flat topped socket screw for iron golf clubs. Impact absorption washers 6,7,8 are required at the toe and shoulders of the socket screw to absorb the impact of the strike plate hitting the ball. Preferably the shaft is aligned with the centre of the inertia block and strike plate to eliminate torque on the shaft 12 of the club.

A golf club bead includes a ball striking plate [01], an inertia block [021 with housing for a golf shaft [121 clamped together with a domed headed socketscrew[03]whichscmntoathreadedcircularcup[09]atthe rear ofball striking plate [01] GoLf shaft [121 siftached to club head at a collar joint [04] on the perimeter of the inertia block [02] integral with the inertiablock [02] withaplastic cap seal[ 22 J betweenthe golf shaft [ 12] andcollarjoint[04].. Mlnicraters[ 11]areformedinthefIceoftheball striking -[011 with mini valleys [08] and mini ridges [10] formed in the interface [13] to rear of ball striking plate [01] and interface (14) to front of inertia block [02] respectively. Mini valleys [08] to be slightly larger than mini ridges [10] for assembly purposes Impact absorption washers[05], [06] and[07]areplacedbetweenthetoe[18]ofthe domed headed socket cap screw [03] for driving and fairway wood golf clubs or [25] standard socket screw for all iron golf clubs and the bottom of the threaded circular cup [19] inlhe rear of the ball striking plate [01] also between interface [13] to rear of ball striking plate [01] and the interface [14] to the front of inertia block [02] , also between the head of the domed socket cap screw [03] and the shoulders [201 of the bole [21] through ineilia block [02] -The ball striking plate [01] is inclined at various degrees [15] fiom toe [23] to head of same [24] to produce different trajectories for the golf ball to travel. The angle of the shaft [12] can be rotated clockwise or anticlockwise [17] about the centre line [16] of the ball striking plate [011 in order fbrthe golf club to be used by right banded or left handed golf era.
This invention relates to golf clubs having shafts which are concentric to golf club heads rMlw thmi at present which are nminly eccentric. As anyone who has played and enjoyed golf the task of hitting a golf ball straight and true is sometimes annoying and thistrafing due to the eccentricity of a golf shaft in relation to the club head and the so called "sweet spot" which is generally assumed to be in the ihw of the golf club head. By aligning the shaft concentric with the zv of the "sweet spot" and centre of inertia of the club head it will allow a gol to strike the golf ball more accurately and true. A number of prior Mujt have been made in an ct to increase a golfers ability to strike the golf ball wcça1y by perimeter we&1Aing and other solutions and by making the shaft concentric to the club head golfing tni..K like "hook" , "slice" or "fade" should ali but be eliminated, resulting in -achieving greater accuracy bt results and more enjoyment from playing golf.
Golf clubs are continually being redesigned to assist the golfer in m1wuving his or In-tw* it would be particularly advantageous to provide a set of golf clubs of different types (irons and woods) which are properly balanced and supply clues to the golfer to assist in aligning his or In-shots.

The shaft is housed in the inertia block fir driver, fanway woods and iron golf clubs and is positioned directly in line with the cndw of the ball striking plate and the inertia block so that the golf ball is hit concentrically bythegolfclub.
It is one object of this invention to be able to uAidc the ball striking plate in rclationtotheinertiablocktoallowthe golfchibstobeusedbyright handed or left lawled golfers.

Claims (4)
- Claims 1) A golf club lI assembly fir Stsr.hing to a golf club shaft the assembly comprising of a ball striking plate with a number of minixlinc enters set into the front lice oldie bail striking plate and a series of.nn'.kuv triangular valleys set out ra&aUy at the rear of the ball striking plate and to align with a ies of.....Mnc biangular ridges set out rsdistfly to the front of the inertia block with an impact absorption washer between the interibees to both ball striking -and interfaces to both ball striking plate and inertia blot The ball stIikMg -and the inertia block are comfld -with a domed socket screw fir driver and fairway woods and a flat towed socket screw fir hon golf clubs.

A golf club head assembly compti sing a ball striking plate I with a front face having a number of miniature craters 11 and a rear lice having a radial series of miniature friangularvalleys Sto align withminiature triangularridges 10 onthe front lice of inertia block 2 and an impact absorption washer between the ball striking plate and the inertia block, the ball striking plate and the inertia block being held together by a screw.2. The golf club as described in Claim 1 wherein the assembly of the shaft is concentrically aligned with the centre of both the inertia block and ball striking plate will enable the ball to be hit concentrically and longer than with present clubs which * hit the ball eccentrically.3. The golf club as set out in claim 2 wherein the striking of the golf bail concentrically will eliminate the errors of striking the ball eccentrically such as:-a)Thde, b)hook, c)draw, d)slice and e)pull.4. The golf club as described in Claim 1 will eliminate torque on the shaft of the golf club which is produced by eccentrically shafted golf clubs, therefore reducing stress and strain on gollbrs torso and limbs.
