Abstract

257,771. Bingley, F., and Thorogoods, Ltd. March 25, 1926. Baths fitted with lavatory basins.-A washhand basin adapted to be supported across a bath comprises a frame b, preferably of wood, to which is secured a metal sheet a by bending the ends c under the frame. In holes f, g in the plate are carried a basin h and a soap, &c. dish k both formed of sheet metal. The basin may swivel for emptying or be secured to the metal sheet by seaming, welding, &c., and be provided with an outlet plug. Stops may be provided on the frame to prevent the device from slipping off the bath, but preferably rubber feet s are secured to the lower face of the frame.
