Abstract

260,123. Smith. F. W., and Macleod, A. W. Dec. 10, 1925. Cabinets.-A protective cabinet for a barrel &c. d comprises a rectangular or circular casing a having a door h which forms part of the lower periphery of the cabinet. The door h may be hinged, sliding or portable and when open, permits the casing to be wheeled into position over the barrel &c. to be protected. Slotted pins k are provided on the inner side of the door, which engage in holes l in the casing and are looked therein from inside the cabinet by cotters j. An upper vertically sliding door b is provided giving access to the interior and is locked at e. Wheels or castors c support the casing. In order to prevent the cabinet from being lifted off the barrel &c. a cross-shaped bar or plate o is placed thereunder and secured to internal hooks p by chains n. An external lock may be provided for the door h.
