Seats.-A pressurereducing, stop or other valve has the seat member c provided with a flange adapted d to be clamped between the casing a and a short flanged cylindrical member h. In the form shown in the Figure, the seat-member has a pair of apertures to co-operate with a double-beat valve b. A single aperture may be used to form a seat for a simple-lift valve. The casing, seat member, and cylindrical member are all recessed to receive a packing-ring i. Specification 16978/14 is referred to.
