[Classes 75 (ii) and 75 (iv).] Reflectors.-A vehicle lamp comprises two semi - paraboloidal reflecting-surfaces a, b, having foci e, f lying on a common axis c, which is situated below the axis d of the lamp casing, and a horizontal transversely arranged electric lamp filament placed slightly below the common axis c. Preferably the filament is disposed within the triangle e, f, f<1> defined by lines drawn from the terminal points A, B through the foci e, f, and the reflector is mounted in the lamp casing by means of a flange g. The electric lamp bulb may be adjustably mounted and made spherical with a small circular area of its front part immediately above the horizontal axis etched or similarly treated, whilst the front glass of the lamp may be fluted so as to diffuse the light laterally and downwardly.
