342,967. Packing sweetmeats. GARBUTT, H., 10, Hadzor Road, Warley, Worcestershire, and WHITTAKER, A., 58, Bunbury Road, Northfield, Birmingham. April 24, 1930, No. 12654. [Class 94 (i).] Chocolates a or other sweetmeats are arranged in a layer for packing and are caused to adhere at contiguous points b, either by putting them in contact while still soft, or, after setting, by the application of soft chocolate. The united layer is enclosed in a single wrapper and placed in a box. Alternatively, the chocolates &c. may be assembled and united on the metal foil which is to form the wrapper. The foil may be embossed with a name or pattern which is reproduced on the undersides of the chocolates.
