374,807. Vehicle roofs. METROPOLITAN-CAMMELL CARRIAGE WAGON & FINANCE CO., Ltd. and RAYER, F. H., Metropolitan Works, Saltley, Birmingham. Jan. 29, 1932, No. 2658. [Class 108 (i).] Vehicle roofs comprise metal sheets a, the transverse edges b of which are bent upwardly and enclosed in channel-section carlins c which are open at the ends. Cover strips e may be provided thereby forming tubular drainage members which are open at j. The metal sheets a may be off-set as at k to deflect the rain water from the vehicle sides and windows. The carlins c together with the roof sheets a are secured to the pillars h. Partitions l may be provided at each side to accommodate the lighting units m, the space between the roof sheets a and the partitions serving to house the wiring &c.
