374,827. Electric incandescent lamps. SIEMENS & HALSKE AKT.-GES., Seimensstadt, Germany. Dec. 11, 1930, No. 37388. Convention date, Dec. 13, 1929. Void [Published under Sect. 91 of the Acts]. [Class 39 (ii).] In an evacuated or gas-filled glass container such as a discharge tube or an incandescent lamp, corrosion of the positive leading-in wires, due to electrolytic currents flowing through the glass, is prevented by means of screens. A gas-filled rectifier has the anode leading-in wires 2, 3 protected by wires or plates 6, 61 which do not project through the outer surface of the glass and are connected to the leading-in wires as shown.
