377,143. Mouldings. ZIMMERS. J. B., 2334, South Michigan Avenue, Chicago, U.S.A. May 16, 1931, No. 9460/32. Convention date, Nov. 19, 1930. Divided on 376,889. [Class 141.] A moulding, suitable for covering the joints of vehicles, comprises a flexible insert 7 which is engaged by a base portion 5 formed with means, for example, flared openings 8, adapted to bear against the inner surface of the insert 7 to maintain it against inward distortion. The insert consists of a body of elastic material having an embedded flexible strip 11 not so elastic. The moulding may be coated with pyroxylin or like substance. Specifications 292,230, [Class 20 (iv), Floors &c.], 376,889, and 377,144 are referred to.
