Abstract

420,844. Cycle brakes. RADNALL, E. A., Vauxhall Works, Dartmouth Street, Birmingham. July 21, 1933, No. 20559. [Class 136 (i)] The pivot 10 of calliper brake levers 9 is carried by a flat plate 12, which co-operates with a flat plate 13 to clamp the brake to the longitudinal side members of the cycle fork, as by means of bolts 19 and nuts 20. To permit of adjustment for forks of different widths, the plates are provided with slots 17 and spaced holes 18 for the passage of the bolts 19, which are prevented from rotating by square shoulders engaging the slots 17. The pivot pin 10 is screw-threaded into the plate 12.
