[Class 80 (ii)] [See also Group XXXI] A friction clutch for cycle driving-mechanism comprises a disc 31 provided with an annular groove 32 adapted to be engaged by a friction element 37 mounted in a depression 36 in a segmental plate 34, which is spring-pivoted at 35 to a disc 33 fixed to the rear sprocket wheel 6. The clutch is freed by a wedge wheel 38 carried by a fork 39 slidable in a lug 40 on the frame.
