443,494. Heat reflectors ; electric hot-plates. BRITISH THOMSON-HOUSTON CO., Ltd., Crown House, Aldwych, London, SIMS, W. J., 17, Fisher Avenue, Hillmorton Paddox, and BRUNT, B..P., 51, Richmond Road, both in Rugby. Aug. 28, 1934, No. 24784. [Classes 39 (iii) and 126] A metal heat reflector 6 has a dull black coating on its rear face. The reflector may be of aluminium with a copper sulphide coating formed by spraying its rear face with copper and then treating the copper with a solution of ammonium hydrosulphide. The reflector is attached to a metal frame 2 supported in a hob 1 and carrying a grooved fire-clay support 3 for a sheathed wire heating resistance 4.
