Abstract

A metal electric resistance layer, e.g. a silver layer, in the form of a narrow strip is deposited chemically on a tempered glass support and a further layer, e.g. of nickel, is deposited electrolytically on the first layer. The glass is covered by known photographic processes with a resist where deposition is not wanted. The layers are thicker near the terminals and may form an ornamental pattern. Varnish may be applied over the layers.
