Abstract

493,503. Glazing windows of aircraft cabins. JUNKERS FLUGZEUGUND-MOTORENWERKE AKT.-GES. May 6, 1938, No. 13569. Convention date, May 7, 1937. [Class 20 (iii)] Domed windows are mounted in their frames in aircraft cabins by means of thickened edges 3 formed thereon which are held in claw-like sashes 7 with resilient packing 5 interposed. The limb 7 is left open and pressed inwardly after inserting the glass. The sash may be in separate parts adapted to be bolted together on the glass and packing or the glass may be held on a flanged sash 14 by a divided ring 11 having an inserted joining member 17, Fig. 3.
