[Class 135] [Also in Group XIII] In an internal combustion engine having a sealed cooling system, liquid flows through a bye-pass tube 1 while the radiator inlet 3 is controlled by a butterfly valve 4 actuated by the pressure of the liquid on a diaphragm 6 acting against a return spring 9 and opening on the other side to a sealed chamber 8.
