Abstract
533,232. Rotary distributers. BENDIX AVIATION CORPORATION Oct. 19, 1939, No. 28255. Convention date, Oct. 27, 1938. [Class 38 (v)] A distributer for ignition circuits comprises stationary input and output contacts and a rotary contact member working in oil under pressure. In the example shown, the stationary contacts 14, 18 are disposed in opposite circles and the distributer bears bridging contacts 34, 35, spring pressed. Peripheral passages 37 force oil outwards which returns through gooves 38 in the upper surface of the rotor.
