545,275. Spray-producers. LUMB, C. F. April 1, 1941, No. 4363. [Class 69 (iii)] Spraying apparatus of the kind in which material used including metals, in powder or liquid form is projected through a flame comprises a body a, having a barrel b with a jet c through which air or gas under pressure is passed to induce a flow of material along a conduit d leading to a nozzle and including an annular passage e or longitudinal passageways for oxyacetylene &c. In the outlet of the nozzle is mounted a conical member f against which the stream of material impinges and is deflected into the flame. Specifications 432,831 and 532,437 are referred to.
