[Class 126] A device for admitting air into domestic fireplaces comprises a skeleton tubular member placed in the grate with one end displaced so that air can enter from the front of the fireplace. The member 1, having 'perforations 2 rests on the fire bars 6 as shown, and may be provided at its inner end with a vertical extension 4; it may also be extended to project into a boiler and oven flues. It may also be curved so that the front end is near one side of the grate while the other is in the middle of the fire.
