591,560. Flexible tubes. BELL'S ASBESTOS & ENGINEERING, Ltd., and HEALD, J. E. May 11, 1945, No. 11876. [Class 99 (ii)] A flexible, fluid tight, heat-resisting tube comprises an inner fluid-resisting tube 2 of rubber or synthetic rubber, with an internal helical wire 1, a layer 3 of fine asbestos fabric or glass cloth encircled by another helical wire 7, the use of which is optional, a layer 4 of heatresisting asbestos fabric, a layer 5 of oil-resisting varnish or the like, and an external helical wire: 6. The wires 1 and 6 are arranged to have their turns interspaced so that they shall hold the layers together. '
