Abstract
607,826. Floors. LAFFAILLE, B. Feb. 12, 1946, No. 4377. Convention date, Oct. 24, 1944. [Class 20(iv)] The horizontal layers such as floors, pp<4> of a building are all assembled, preferably at ground level, in contact one above another in the vertical order they possess in the final structure, are then raised to the height of the first floor, when pillars or other supports 4 are substituted for the lifting means 3, which then raise the remaining floors &c. to their final positions in the same way. The permanent supports may be hollow and erected round the lifting means which, when the supports at a stage are completed, are raised and carried by a wedge inserted between the supports and the floor above.
