[Class 39(iii)] A flat, rigid electrical heating element comprises a resistance wire a helically wound d around a flexible core of glass fibres b, the combined wire and core d being disposed between two mica plates e and around eyelets f holding the mica plates e together. The combined wire a and core b may be insulated by a covering of glass fibres c. The plates e may be of metal if the resistance wire a is enamelled, or insulated as described above, or if the metal has an oxidized surface. Specification 127,826, [Class 39(iii)], is referred to.
