Abstract

622,217. Rockets. SMITH, M., FORREST, T. P., and MITCHELL, S. S. C. March 19, 1946, No. 8488. [Class 9 (i)] A rocket having a casing made of light alloy is pro - vided with a liner 12 of heat resistant material, e.g. asbestos, and a liner 13 of metal protects the asbestos. Asbestos cups 6, 8 protect the ends of the casing. The discharge nozzles 5 are offset to give rotation to the rocket.
