Abstract

684,603. Stop-motions for Axminster looms. PLATT BROS. & CO.,.Ltd., BASSINDALE, I. B., and SCHOFIELD, F. B. March 17,1950 [March 17, 1949], No. 7255/49. Classes 142(i) and 142(ii) To prevent breakage if the clasping means of a transfer arm strikes a displaced tube frame, the transfer arms are made in two parts 10, 11 hinged at 12 and locked together by a shear pin 13. When the pin shears, an insulated plate 16 carried by the part 11 makes contact with the part 10 to close the stop motion circuit described in Specification 684,558.
