Class 100(1) A feed-table for sheet-feeding apparatus is of arcuate form in the direction of travel of the sheets. As shown, the feed-table 3 is arranged between the impression cylinder 1 of a printing press and the stack 2 of paper sheets. The table is curved throughout its entire length, and sheets are fed thereover by apparatus as described in Specification 770,876, which includes grippers 4 on endless chains. The sheets passing over the curved table have increased rigidity, and very thin sheets can be registered without the danger of buckling.
