Abstract

Polyethylene is hea- and light-stabilized by incorporating 0.001 to 0.5 per cent by weight of 4,41-thiobis (6-tert.-butyl-meta cresol). Pigments and dyes may be present and such coloured compositions maintain their shade after exposure to heat.
