Abstract
796,970. Cooling dynamo-electric machines. SUMO PUMPS, Ltd., and HALLETT, L. B. H. Dec. 17, 1956 [Feb. 28, 1956], No. 6212/56. Class 35. A machine has ducts for liquid formed by slots in the stator core periphery; also ducts in the slot mouths formed at least partly by slot wedges. As shown, oil flows along slots 12 in the core and returns by passages between wedges 81 and metal bore lining 10. The slot mouth ducts could be wholly in the slot wedges by making these hollow, e.g. of fibre glass.
