Abstract

801,891. Land mine fuze. POUDRERIES REUNIES DE BELGIQUE S.A. May 18, 1956 [May 18, 1955], No. 15589/56. Classes 9(1) and 9(2) A fuze for a land mine having a spring striker 5 and primer 9, held apart by an apertured skirt 6 as in Specification 801,889, has a body 2 with a cover 1 through which extends a pressure member 3 integral with the skirt 6 and secured against movement by a frangible pin 4. The pin 4 is held in position by an elastic ring 10. The body 2 has an internal boss 7 housing the primer 9, the interior of the boss being in communication with an extension 12 of the body 2 which houses a detonator 8 secured by a ring 13. The striker springs 5 are mounted on a plate 14 and held in alignment with the primer 9 by a spring 17. The fuze may be incorporated in an anti-tank mine as in Specification 801,890. All the parts are of non-magnetic materials.
