Abstract
804,560. Air-space cables. PASTA S.p.A. Dec. 27, 1956 [Dec. 28, 1955], No. 39278/56. Class 36. A telephone cable is formed by standing two or more conductors, the insulation of each of which is star-shaped in cross-section with external ribs projecting from and integral with a thin continuous layer applied around the conductor, the stranding lay being such that a rib on one conductor cannot penetrate between two ribs on another conductor. The ribs may be axial or, as shown, helical.
