813,205. Two-part couplings. ELASTIC STOP NUT CORPORATION OF AMERICA. Nov. 7, 1956 [Nov. 17, 1955], No. 33986/56. Class 38 (1). A readily separable connector for the connection of cables 4, 6 through a circuit element such as a cartridge fuse 26 comprises a pair of resilient sockets 18 connected to the cables 4, 6 respectively and embedded in resilient insulating bodies 32, 34 moulded round the ends of the cables. A cylindrical insulating body portion 48 together with a two-part spacer sleeve 66 is a close fit round the circuit element and is adapted, on entry of the caps 20, 22 of the circuit element into the contacts 18, to telescope over the body 32 and into the body 34 to form a water-tight enclosure.
