Abstract

An insecticidal composition comprises one part by weight of 2,4,5,41-tetrachlorodiphenylsulphone and 0.5 to 10 parts by weight of a compound of the general formula <FORM:0813871/VI/1> wherein R1 and R2 designate an aliphatic or aromatic hydrocarbon radical, R3 and R4 designate a hydrogen atom or an aliphatic or aromatic hydrocarbon radical. The preferred compound is S-(1,2-dicarboethoxy)-ethyl-O, O-dimethyldithiophosphate. A wetting agent, dispersing agent and carrier may also be included. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specification 699,522.
