Abstract

837,081. Radial cylinder pumps. RECHERCHES ETUDES PRODUCTION R. E. P. July 18, 1958 [Jan. 18, 1958], No. 23127/58. Class 102(1). The outlet valve of a radial cylinder pump is common to all the cylinders and comprises an elastic ring 23 surrounding the pump body and covering the outlet ports of the cylinders. The pistons 3 are hollow and have inlet ports 5 which communicate with ports 12 in a member 8 surrounding a crank pin 9 which has a port 17 communicating with the inlet 15 and successively with the ports 12. The pistons 3 have projections 6 which engage in grooves 7 in the member 8, the projections being held therein by a nut 8a screwed on the member 8.
