Abstract

842,730. Spray-producers. GLAZEX PRODUCTS Ltd. Feb. 6, 1958 [Nov. 10, 1956], No. 34422/56. Class 69 (3). Liquid flows from a container 16 and valve 14 to the upper part of a rotary brush 4 having its spindle 2 driven by an electric motor within a casing 1. A plate 9 is located in the path of the brush bristles and causes the liquid thereon to be flicked through a slot 8 in the wall of the brush casing 3. The latter is detachably secured to a ring 7a forming part of the motor casing, and the brush spindle has a pin 6 for engagement with the motor shaft. A helical groove in the brush spindle receives the bristles. The plate 9 is slotted to receive a fixing screw 12 and is vertically adjustable and guided within lugs 11 on an angle plate 10; plates 17 are located at each side of the flicker plate. Alternatively, the liquid may be fed by air pressure within the container which may be separate from the casing 3.
