844,399. Inductors. STANDARD TELEPHONES & CABLES Ltd. June 7, 1957 [June 9, 1956], No. 18243/57. Class 38 (2). [Also in Group XXXVI] An inductor has a magnetic core comprising a flanged bobbin 1, an enclosing sleeve 2 and a rod 3 of material of different permeability movable in the bore of the bobbin. A winding on the bobbin has leads which pass through notches in one flange Several inductors may be associated with capacitances to form a filter circuit unit which may be cast in resin.
