Abstract
855,324. Nozzles. SVENSKA FLAKTFABRIKEN A.B. March 12, 1959 [March 17, 1958], No. 8591/59. Class 69 (3). A device for distributing a gaseous medium in desired directions comprises a distributer tube 1 with perforations therearound fed with gas from a chamber 3, an axially adjustable non- perforated inner tube 5 with a flared inlet 10 and a deflector 13 whereby some of the gas flows through the inner tube, and before discharge from the perforations will tend to flow in the outer tube in a direction opposed to that of the gas passing directly into the outer tube. The direction of discharge from the perforations is thereby adjustable, and in one extreme position of the inner tube its inlet 10 closes the inlet 11 to the outer tube whereby all the gas passes through the inner tube and the jets from the perforations are directed towards the supply chamber.
