857,786. Venting-apparatus. WINE & SPIRITS PATENTS Ltd. Jan. 17, 1957 [Oct. 24, 1956], No. 32463/56. Class 21. A cask 2 has an internal collapsible bag 1 of substantially similar shape and size to the interior of the cask, the neck 3 of the bag extending through the vent hole of the cask and being secured therein by a perforated bung 5. The bag may be of polythene. As liquid is drawn off through a tap 8 air entering through the bung 5 is retained in the bag 1 and does not contact the wine &c.
