873,080. Electrophotographic development. AUSTRALIA, COMMONWEALTH OF. April 3, 1958 [April 5, 1957], No. 10875/58. Drawings to Specification. Class 98(2) A latent electrostatic image is developed in a bath comprising pigment powder suspended in an insulating liquid by placing an electrode in the bath facing the image and applying between the electrode and a second electrode placed behind the image a potential to produce a field in the opposite direction to that produced by the image charges so that pigment particles are moved away from the non- image areas. Specification 835,044 is referred to.
