Abstract

893,817. Packaging. DELNON, V. June 23, 1958 [June 22, 1957], No. 20045/58. Class 94(1). A device for the packaging of victuals compresses the wares enclosed in an open synthetic thermo-plastic bag 8 in a direction towards the mouth thereof between elastically compressible material 7 to press the air out of the bag which is then hermetically sealed. The device comprises a container lined with sponge rubber 7 and having on at least one side welding elements 4, 5 which may consist of electrically heated and thermostatically controlled bars. Instead of the bag 8 a folded sheet of synthetic thermo-plastic may be used and the device provided welding elements 4, 5 on three sides thereof.
