Abstract

914,325. Radiator mountings. OPEL A.G., ADAM. Oct. 18, 1961 [Nov. 5, 1960], No. 37384/61. Class 79(3). A motor vehicle radiator 10 is mounted on a device 16 comprising a block of rubber 17, which may be of hexagonal shape, bonded between a pair of plates 18 and 19, the upper plate 18 being rigid with a screw 20 screwed into a fixing strap 15 attached to the radiator and the lower plate 19 being rigid with a screw 21 passing through a hole in a supporting bracket 25 secured to the vehicle frame and being held in place by a nut 27. The vehicle side members 28 and 29 are provided with holes in which are located by their bosses 32 and 33 a pair of rubber pads 30 and 31 which fit within channel members 38 and 39 secured to the strap 15 and which form vertical guide members for the pads.
