963,009. Boxes. A. F. OAKLEY. May 5, 1961 [Feb. 10, 1960], No. 4687/60. Heading B8P. A rectangular case made from " fibreboard " (as defined in BS. 1133, Sec. 7.S; 1952) or other materials excluding non-laminated plastics, metal or wood, consists of a body piece over which fits a lid piece, one or each piece consisting of two sections fitting one within the other and made respectively by folding a blank about crease lines to provide a base wall and mutually facing side walls upstanding therefrom with corner flanges along the coextensive edges, the two sections of a piece being joined together where corner flanges overlap side walls. The U-shaped sections shown interfit to form the lid or body piece, the edge flanges a, a 1 , a 2 and b, b 1 , b 2 being lapped round the adjacent walls of the complementary section and secured by adhesive, stapling or otherwise. A modification has a liner which may be of a different material, the lid and body fitting over the liner so that their wall edges abut.
