Abstract

968,657. Filing papers. NATSER CORPORATION, [trading as ACCO PRODUCTS]. June 12, 1963, No. 23395/63. Heading B6E. A compressor 14 for a loose-leaf binder consists of a bar 17 having an upstanding wall 18 at one edge and apertures 15 adjacent each end, lugs 20 having downturned edges 21 being formed integrally with said wall at positions inwardly of said apertures. A stack of papers is held between two covers 11, each having a hinged stub portion 12 with a compressor 14 riveted thereto, by prongs 16. Preferably, the wall 18 of each compressor is bent over at its upper end to provide a ledge 19 from which the lugs 20 project. The covers may be omitted and the papers filed directly between two compressors.
