Abstract
993,827. Dispensing liquid fuels. SCHEIDT & BACHMAN G.m.b.H. Jan. 15, 1964 [June 27, 1963], No. 1846/64. Heading A4T. A self-service installation for dispensing liquid fuels including one or or more dispensing stands supervised from a remote control point has at the control point a pump 7, filter 6 and gas separator 9 connected through a non-return valve 10a to a flowmeter 11a with price caluclator 3a having indicators 12a, 13a, 14a and automatic zeroising device 15a and at the dispensing stand a second flowmeter 11b, hydraulically or magnetically operated valve 10b, mechanical price calculator 3b with indicators 12b, 13b, 14b and automatic zeroising device 15b connected by a pressure pipe 16 and cable 17 to the measuring apparatus at the control point. The dispensing hose 18 has a sight glass 22 and dispensing valve 19 which is supported, when not in use, by a device 20 having an electric switch. The zeroising devices 15a, 15b are electrically coupled so as to be operable only from the central point and control the shut-off valves 10a, 10b so that the valves can only be opened when both the price calculators have been set to zero.
