Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent the freezing of water and snow in a guide groove so as to dispense with removing work by forming the bottom face of a sliding door guide groove into an inclined face so as to position a discharge opening low and disposing a heat insulating cable adjacent to the guide groove across its whole length. CONSTITUTION:A threshold 8 is provided at the tip of the entry-exit side of a cage floor 2. The threshold 8 is provided with a guide groove 9 to be engaged with a guide piece at the lower end of a sliding door. A discharge opening 10 is provided at the bottom face of the guide groove 9, and the bottom face is formed into an inclined face so that discharge opening is positioned lower to discharge water speedily. Adjacent to the guide groove 9, a square through hole 11 is provided across the whole length of the threshold 8 and has a heat insulating cable 13 made of a coated resistance wire built therein. Ice and snow accumulated in the guide groove 9 is therefore melted even in the wintertime and discharged from the discharge opening 10, so that the removing work of ice, snow, and the like is not required.
