Abstract
PURPOSE:To eliminate the need for a main switch by providing a switch for controlling the conduction of electricity to respective display means irrespectively of controlling of an electric power source applied to processing means for the purpose of image formation. CONSTITUTION:When this device is connected to a commercial electric power source AC, DC 32V for driving respective image forming processes and DC 24V for respective display devices are outputted from a DC power source RC1, and DC 10V for a CPU 50 is outputted from a DC power source RC2. When a job switch 39 is turned on, DC 10V is connected to the CPU 50, by which the input operations of input keys 40-43 are made possible. At the same time, loads L1-Ln of the respective processes are driven, and the conduction of electricity to display devices 45-49 is controlled. In this way, the main switch for turning off primary circuits is eliminated.
